Solidarity greetings from ETUCE in times of the devastating fires
Dear colleagues,
It is with grief that the sad news are reaching us of the devastating fires in your countries and the damages caused to nature, homes and families which are falling prey to the fires enflamed by the tremendous heat and strong winds. Our thoughts are with you in these harsh times as we send our support and solidarity to you, your affiliates and the teachers amongst those impacted by these terrible fires as people are losing their homes and fighting to put out and control the fires.
It is indeed sad that this terrible event is occurring during the summer time that should be a holiday for all to take a break from work and the impact of the pandemic.
